At Court Diagnostic & Treatment Center (CDTC), we proudly serve at the forefront of forensic mental health services, with a particular emphasis on our groundbreaking Outpatient Competency Restoration (OCR) program.

Specifically designed for individuals declared Incompetent to Stand Trial (IST) due to mental illness, developmental disabilities, or cognitive impairments, our goal is to restore competency, empowering them to engage effectively in their legal proceedings.

The OCR Program: A Comprehensive Approach to Competency Restoration

The OCR program is an embodiment of our dedication to providing inclusive and holistic education, training, and services. Tailored to those not requiring hospitalization or residential care, it offers a less restrictive, cost-effective, and less disruptive alternative, focusing on legal system education, anxiety management, psychiatric treatment, medication management, counseling, and other supportive services.
