
Court Diagnostic and Treatment Center (CDTC) is a private, non-profit organization committed to helping make safer communities. We work with the criminal justice system to provide the following services:

The Ohio Department of Mental health has certified CDTC as the Forensic Center of Northwest Ohio as well as a certified Mental Health Agency in Lucas County. We serve the following thirteen counties:

We employ licensed Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Clinical Counselors, and Social Workers. Our staff provides expert evaluations, testimony, and consultations. We also specialize in treating the mentally ill offender and regularly offer training to the professional community.

Our breadth of experience in treating the mentally ill offender is extensive. All treatment services are designed to not only help relieve emotional pain and suffering, but to also help the offender reenter the community safely while ensuring all efforts have been made to reduce the risk of reoffending behavior.

Hours of operation are Monday & Tuesday 8:30 am – 7:00 pm and Wednesday through Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
After hours answering service is available. For emergencies, please dial 911 or go to the local emergency room and ask for the Psychiatrist on call.
Our services are paid for primarily through contracts with governmental agencies. At times services may be paid for through private or public grants, or by individuals using health insurance or by paying for their services privately.
CDTC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to seek or withdrawal from funding, including contracts, grants, insurance panels or self-pay regimes. CDTC does not have a sliding fee nor can it provide services for free.
